As a friendly reminder the demand is great during carnival time so securing the costume you have your eye on can be a bit of “who got there first”. Whole sections can sell out in days depending on the popularity and we reserve the right to limit the amount of participants depending on parade requirements and guidelines.

After you’re registered… you can just work on making your payments and counting down the days to your first carnival.
Caribbean Career Fairs will be having pop-up stores for costume fittings and alterations 2 weeks prior each festival date, with its main location being held in New Horizon Mall in Alberta. Stay tuned for locations.
Once you purchase a costume from one of our handcrafted Mas Bands sections, you’ll be considered registered for one or all of the parades we are in for 2026 and we are so excited to have you join us!

Parade Route Drink Cart

- We are forecasting hot and sunny weather, which is why we are partnering to offer CCF Mas Band participants free Non-Alcoholic Beverages like Water, Carbonated and Non-Carbonated beverages to keep you hydrated along the parade route. Where permitted by festival organizers, we will have some water stations for your little dog too!

RULES, REGISTRATIONS and REMINDERS

Refund/Return Policy

Please note that carnival costumes are custom-made including hand-made components and individually take a large amount of time. Supplies and services which go into assembly of the costumes from third party which include items that are non-refundable therefore once a payment, down payment or deposit is made, it is non-refundable. Additionally, there will be:

NO exchange or switching of sections.
NO changing of measurements or sizes after official sizinging is done
NO Costume Transfers
NO Returns accepted

Payment Policy

For all Mas Band participants including businesses participants costume registration is only considered confirmed after registration and receipt of deposit, down payment or paid in full.

Any promotional pricing, early bird discounts, transportation and/or hotel packages must be paid for in full, unless otherwise stated. Prices of are in Canadian Dollars (CAD), unless otherwise stated.

Hold Ya Spot! Deposits & Down payments are required as follows:

Feather Mas Band Costumes – $100
T-Shirt Experience Costumes - $40
Customers ordering Large or X-Large Backpacks, in King, Queen and/or Knowledge Keepers Costumes will be required to pay an additional down payment.
Additional amount must be received 2 weeks before the first start date of the Carnival
Receipts will be provided for all forms of payments.
Deposits will be forfeited and participant will be removed from confirmed register after 3 request to to submit remaining payment for Mas Band costume & participation are not successful.

Costumes must be paid in full prior to collection, and can be paid:

Caribbean Career Fairs online via Credit Card (VISA & MasterCard).

Debit and Cash Payments can be accepted in selected pop-up store locations only after the deposit is made electronically.

Waiver Policy Risk of not limited to Activities, General Attendance, Location, Close Proximity, Transportation, Food, Shelter and Participation Disclosure

Caribbean Career Fairs, always prioritizes safety first. In short, participating in any indoor or outdoor event does pose risk. Regardless if you choose to participate, these are common risk associated with any festivities, parades and/or events and we encourage everyone to put safety first. As Caribbean Career Fairs is participating in upcoming parades, festivals, carnivals or events, it is important to we let you know of the general public knowledge and possible unknown may include, but are not limited to, the following risks and dangers:

Separation from Mas Band leaders, event organizer, truck, float, tent, 3rd party providers, organizers and/ or other participants;
Performance of vigorous physical activities and/or physical exertion;
Transportation to and from the event;
Travel delays or other disruptions that impact the ability of the activities and/or trip to continue, and that may result in a reduction in the duration of the trip and/or inability to participate in certain activities.
Third-party privacy breaches, hacks, technology malfunction or damage;
Failure of equipment or of the building systems;
These may include, but are not limited to, circumstances involving injuries of other participants, third-party delays or threats of violence.
Adherence to health rules and/or recommendations and personal discipline may reduce but may not eliminate the risk; Exposure to infectious disease, including, but not limited to, diseases declared as epidemics or pandemics by relevant health authorities and other communicable diseases that may be transmitted from one person to another including viruses, bacteria, parasites, fungi, or other organisms.
Injury that may occur due to:
- slips, trips and falls;
- failure to properly use costume pieces correctly and/or equipment;
- mechanical failure of any piece of equipment, costume piece or design;
- physical contact with other individuals, equipment, and hazards;
- not using or wearing, or failing to properly use or wear, appropriate safety or protective equipment;
- failure to act safely or within the Individual's ability or within designated areas;
- negligence of other persons, including other participants, individuals, or third-party employees;
- presence of physical or mental health conditions of the Individual participating;
- exposure to contagious communicable illnesses or disease or food allergens; and/or
- travel to and from events which are an integral part of the Activities.
Injuries may include, but are not limited to:
- Serious injury to bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, tendons, and other aspects of the Individual's body or to the Individual's general health and well-being;
- Abrasions, sprains, strains, fractures, or dislocations;
- Mental distress (i.e stress);
- Allergic reactions to allergens;
- Concussion or other head injuries, including but not limited to closed head injury or blunt head trauma from falling; and or
- Death.

Regardless if you choose to participate, these are common risk associated with any festivities, parades and/or events and we encourage everyone to put safety first. As Caribbean Career Fairs is participating in upcoming parades, festivals, carnivals or events, it is important to we let you know of the general public knowledge and possible unknown may include, but are not limited to, the following risks and dangers:I understand, acknowledge, and agree on behalf of the Individual or myself:

That the participating Individual(s) mental and physical condition is appropriate to participate in the Parade, Activities and Days of the Event;
To comply with the rules and regulations for participation in the Caribbean Career Fairs Carnival Mas Band, Leaders, Festival Organizers including the Safety Guidelines of those in charge, bylaws, event rules or the third-party staff/instructor;
To accept possible rescheduling or cancelling of the Activities, in whole or in part, should unforeseen circumstances affect the viability of these Activities;
The Individual(s) will stop participation immediately if they find any unusual or significant hazard or risk, or when the risks associated with the Activities are increased or if the Individual's abilities are compromised, for any reason, including, but not limited to fatigue, muscle strain, compromised vision, minor injury and the Individual agrees not to participate if impaired in any way (including through the use of medication);
To bring any unusual or significant hazard or risk to the attention of a Caribbean Career Fairs Staff Member, Event Official or Law Enforcement immediately;
To assess and understand that it is the Individuals sole responsibility to assess, whether any Activities are too difficult for the Individual(s). By the Individual(s) commencing an Activity, they acknowledge and accept the suitability and conditions of the Activity;
That the Activities have foreseeable and unforeseeable inherent risks, hazards and dangers that no amount of care, caution or expertise can eliminate, including without limitation, the potential for serious bodily injury, and in rare occurrences, permanent disability paralysis and loss of life.

By signing this Form, I acknowledge, accept and agree on behalf of the Individual (s) or myself that:

The participation/activities has inherent risks, dangers and hazards (outlined above), knowing and understanding this, I accept the risks of participating in the activity on behalf of myself or the Individual (s);
This is a binding legal agreement that I have read and understood, seeking legal counsel if/where needed.
I am signing this freely and voluntarily;
I understand that I will be solely responsible (including financially responsible) for any loss or damage to property, or personal injury or death that I sustain based on my decision;
I indemnify Caribbean Career Fairs, its partners, sponsors, affiliates against all liability for damage to the property of, or personal injury to, any third party, resulting from the Individual's participation in the Activities;
Career Fairs, its owners, partners, sponsors is not responsible or liable for any damage to the individual's vehicle, property, or equipment that may occur as a result of the Activities;
This Agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by law and if any of its provisions are held to be invalid, the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.
I am either the Parent/Guardian of the Individual(s), or over the age of 18, and have full legal responsibility for the decision of myself or the Individual(s).
